Mélanie Wahl

Teaching Assistant

Mélanie assists Prof. Andrea Bianchi in the course on Human Rights in Armed Conflict. Melanie Wahl is a PhD candidate in International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland. Her current research focuses on legal certainty and predictability of several international legal regimes.

Jean-Baptiste Maillart

Teaching Assistant

Assistant to Professor Giovanni Distefano in Force unilatérale en droit international. He is also assisting Professor Robert Kolb in International Humanitarian Law in the Executive Master in International Law in Armed Conflict.

Céline Bauloz

Teaching Assistant

Céline Bauloz is currently writing a PhD thesis in international refugee law and human rights law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva.

Tom Gal

Teaching Assistant

Assistant to Prof. Acquaviva in International Criminal Law class and to Prof. Gosnell in International Criminal Procedure, and responsible for the preparation process of the Geneva Academy team for the international Jean Pictet competition in IHL.

Rachelle Kouassi

Teaching Assistant

Assistant of Frank Haldemann in the Executive Master's module on 'Post-Conflict Situations and Reparation Programmes'. She is currently a Ph.D candidate in law at the University of Geneva.

Géraldine Ruiz

Teaching Assistant

Géraldine Ruiz assists Prof. Vincent Chetail in International Refugee Law, and holds the tutorials for the same course. She is a PhD candidate at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.

Antonio Coco

Teaching Assistant

Antonio assists Prof. Eibe Riedel in Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in Armed Conflict. He also assists, in the Executive Master in International Law in Armed Conflict, Prof. Giovanni Distefano for the modules Sources and Subjects of Public International Law and Sanctions in Public International Law, and Prof. Riedel in the module Peace Keeping and Human Rights.

Antoine Kaboré

Teaching Assistant

Antoine Kaboré is teaching assistant in various courses of the Executive Master in International Law in Armed Conflict and the LL.M. in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.

Mélissa Fardel

Teaching Assistant

Mélissa Fardel is currently working on a PhD thesis on the victims before the international criminal jurisdiction under the supervision of Professor Michel at the University of Geneva.

Fidel Kalenga

Teaching Assistant

Assistant of Frank Haldemann in International Law and Transitional Justice. Fidel Kalenga holds a master degree of Law from Fribourg University.

Nishat Nishat

Teaching Assistant

Nishat assists Professor Marco Sassòli and teaches the tutorials for International Humanitarian Law. Nishat is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law at the University of Geneva.

Ilia Maria Siatitsa

Teaching Assistant

Ilia Maria Siatitsa assists Professor Andrew Clapham in the International Legal Framework for the Protection of Human Rights course and teaches the tutorials for that class. She is also assisting in the Executive Master in International Law in Armed Conflict courses. Ilia Siatitsa is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law at the University of Geneva.
