The Geneva Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Maud Bonnet as its new Executive Director.
Before joining the Geneva Academy, Maud Bonnet worked at Geneva Call as Director of External Relations and Support, and previously as Director of Communication and External Relations. Prior to that, she worked at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD).
Ms Bonnet is an alumna of the Geneva Academy and holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Management of non-profit Organization from the University of Geneva.
In this new position, she will work closely with Professor Gloria Gaggioli, Director of the Geneva Academy. Ms Bonnet will manage the daily functioning of the institution and will notably be in charge of the financial management of all programmes, as well as of the administrative management of the staff. Ms Bonnet will also ensure smooth coordination between the Geneva Academy’s various activity areas and with our two parent institutions, the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
With over 500 registered participants in Geneva and online and 24 partners, the conference focused on the capacity of domestic actors to mutually engage with each other and liaise with Geneva-based international human rights bodies in the context of implementation, monitoring and follow-up to UN human rights recommendations.
