Katia Rosenblat is a Teaching Assistant at the Geneva Academy. Her research focuses on extraterritorial jurisdiction for human rights violations committed in the context of extractive industries.

Before joining the Geneva Academy, she worked as for the Public Defence in criminal cases at the trial stage in Argentina. She was also a Teaching Assistant and Academic Tutor at the University of Buenos Aires School of Law in the fields of criminal law and international human rights law. Previously, she worked in professional trainings for the Public Defence and in international cooperation within the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Argentina. She has several publications in the fields of human rights, criminal law and university education.

Katia holds a MAS in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law from the Geneva Academy and a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
