The NHRI Accreditation Database is specifically designed to assist National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) monitor their compliance with the Paris Principles by consolidated recommendations made by the GANHRI Sub-Committee on Accreditation (SCA), which is responsible for reviewing and accredited NHRIs. It features recommendations made by the SCA since 2017, which aim to support NHRIs deepen their compliance with the Paris Principles.

The Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) is responsible for developing and maintaining the NHRI Accreditation Database.
Updated twice a year with new SCA reports so users have access to the latest information, GANHRI is now working to expand the database to present information in French, Spanish, and Arabic. Ongoing consultations and feedback from stakeholders will guide future enhancements to the database’s functionality.
