The 2015 Global Conference took place in Geneva. It brought together academics and observers from civil society and treaty bodies to discuss achievements and challenges of the treaty body system; possible research that could be undertaken in the context of the Academic Platform on Treaty Body Review 2020; the composition of the academic research network; relationship with other stakeholders; the timeframe of the project; as well as working methods and processes.
