Revaz Tkemaladze is a Teaching Assistant at the Geneva Academy and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva. His PhD research focuses on the application of international human rights law in situations of armed hostilities.

Revaz has worked within the International Committee of the Red Cross Advisory Service on International Humanitarian Law as an intern, where he conducted research on legal mechanisms to enhance compliance with IHL. He has also worked as a Legal Adviser at the Litigation Unit of the Department of State Representation in International Courts of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, where he assisted in the preparation of observations on cases and communications before the European Court of Human Rights and the United Nations Treaty Bodies. Revaz has completed internships at an anti-corruption NGO Transparency International and U.S. Peace Corps. He has organized and judged multiple national and international moot court competitions.

Revaz holds an LLM in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy and LLB and LLM degrees in International Law from Tbilisi State University.
